This is from a recording session trying to create laser weapon sounds. I just used the same technique as ben burtt used in wall-e (with the slinky and the contact mic). This is unprocessed, no eqs, compression, reverb or anything was added. I used a long piece of curled up aluminum wire which i hung from a tall structure at my house and the main object i used to oscillate the wire was a drum stick. For the recording i used the blue icicle and recorded into reaper. The contact mic is my own creation from a diy i found online (roughly €5 to make). This sound was made with audacity by editing together a generated beep, with a sound made by repeating a knock on a piece of cardboard. Hope you like it! :).

7 total gunshots from a distance with long echo trail. This was my neighbor shooting at his pond so there are ambient noises of bugs and birds in the background but the shots are nice and clear if you need them.

I used beepbox. Co to make the sound of multiple lasers firing rapidly (think a space battle from star wars).

A space-ship laser firing sound with a retro-y 8-bit effect. My work, feel free to use in any way however you'd like. To make this, i used a synth in cubase to get the basic laser sound, then exported to garageband where i applied and tweaked the bitcrusher effect to give it the 8-bit effect.
